i posted it because i work there. the menu lets down what we sell so badly i can't take it anymore. our work used to consist of being so fast to make your order we'll 'wow the customer' we'll have the sammich in your hands before you're finished paying, and the menu being basic played a very big part in that. it's objectively shit. nobody reads the menu and order wrong in ways we're not traditionally trained to handle. today i cant give anyone quick service anymore. the order-taking software matches mine across the country; excluding hardware specs, it's very slow. currently it takes ten seconds to register a combo in front of a customer at the point of sale. this bug has existed for a year or longer since programming is clearly outsourced to india and they won't fix it. it's very embarrassing and time-wasting and corrupting of our brand. the POS is alos feature-less to the point its unusable with any regular customer interaction. it takes literally 30 steps to change a phone order from delivery order to a pickup order. the newest menu it's pure hell to navigate at this point, there are too many options, too many menus, too many combos, too many prices. our new team members have a really hard time figuring it out. on top of that i just have to just wait until the order is printed to start making it, because the customer has a way higher chance of changing their mind for what they want after it was printed than i do making it pre-2016 style, when the giants menu debuted and fucked everything up forever [pic related-fuck this menu] i can't do what i loved doing anymore and working here just sucks now. jimmy sold shares and left the company, now what you have left is running on air.

whatever you ordered that night i guarantee it was easier to order than you had to say it. just say, example, "9 combo no onion quarter pickle," we fuck with that minimal language and encourage it, nobody does it anymore. it makes me sad cus im still mentally equipped to do it.
