191lbs today, anon. Skin removal surgery mid-Jan to early-Feb, then my life truly begins in earnest.

But tl;dr was my parents never taught me to cope with emotions because they were both boomers. My dad used to be super fat as well, so I just learned from him, probably. Some people cope with anger. Some people cope with substances. My vice was (is, binge eating disorder is still something I struggle with) food. But I'm in a far better place emotionally and spiritually than I ever have been before.
