The year was 99. My parents had recently gotten divorced. I was an angry child. 16 or so.

Tis was my first job. More specifically, I was behind the scenes with the sauce.

One lonely summer night I was all by myself, back in the back, preparing food.

The bathrooms were broken at the time, and if I recall correctly there was a plumber on scene at the time.

Decided it was a good idea to take a piss in the marinara bucket.

And so I did. I regret it. I think about this every night of my life. It haunts me. It keeps me awake at night.
