What kind of rice is less wet than japonica but is shorter than basmati? Trying to make fried rice but it's coming out too wet

I'm gonna have to live off of rice or rice for a weak, anyone know any tips to spice it up? I have half a small bottle of pesto, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and curry.
