>My comment is about cooking TV, they always rant about not put
I've watched cooking shows my whole life, and I've never heard this come up. You should put bottled steak sauce on steak, but nobody ever says not to put a homemade sauce on steak. You're absolutely delusional if you think that's a common talking point.

Also, it's entirely possible to still have some pink in the middle when cooking thin cut steaks

Is steak an inherently childish food? Every time I see one, it reminds me of children flipping their shit because "vegetables are gross" or "the sauce is too hot".

Why does it always say on my steaks that you should put them into the oven for 10-15 minutes after searing? Like I have a rump steak now that says to sear it 3 minutes on each side and then put into the oven for 10-15 min and it's not the first one. Won't that overcook it terribly? How should I make it?
