I was raised by retarded parents who couldn't turn down my dumb ass child food palette that said no to anything green or different you know how it is, I've grown to be extremely picky because of this and I need help in undoing this shit, I can't eat anything normal people enjoy

What are the worst ways you've seen someone fuck up the simplest of recipes or a basic cooking skill?
My mom one time managed to burn and undercook rice at the same time, and today my step brother forgot to add salt to the rice for the nth time and it had a hint of detergent in the background.
Is rice really that fucking difficult?
Im sure some of you have seen worse.

Almost 2 Months sober.

Man, the way I'm looking at booze totally changed in this time. Did meetings, got a sponsor etc but holy shit I feel like my alcoholism has been working out-getting ready to kick my ass since I've been away from the drink.

Before when I had put some time together I still had the illusion/idea that I would sit down and maybe have one drink, or just drink on the weekend.

The way I look at booze now I don't even want to sip it. I just want to chug beer after beer, shot after shot, until i'm fucked up. That wasn't there even when I was drinking. It's scary but sort of motivating because I know it will be worse.

Those things scare me, they are designed to make queues faster and that puts a lot of pressure on me. What do I have to do? What buttons do I push? Do I put everything together? What if the laser doesn't work? What if the code is damaged? What if my card is refused? Meanwhile there are other people in a hurry looking at me and wondering why I'm so slow, judging me and remembering my face.
Fuck this shit.
