I want to be able to pour about 2oz in a glass and sit for about 30 min enjoying it and appreciate all of the tradition, history, and work that went into it. As with islays, I am amazed at the amount of smoke in the final product and how something so dank can be so complex and delightful. I am so glad I got into single malts, I can tell it's going to be a fun ride for many years to come

Can we discuss the kebab restaurants themselves in this thread? I went to one in Porto where after ordering the man told us we could wait up stairs and he'd bring it up. We all pretty much laughed and thought it was going to be such shit but when we went up it was this huge area with tables everywhere and tons of rooms filled with people smoking hookah. It blew my mind.
