I am from a part of Kerala in South India where we do lots of fish dishes like this. In malabar cuisine we have crab curries. And also in Tamil Nadu we have crabcurries.

This is called "Bombay Duck" but its actually just a type of small fish called lizard fish that is fried in a type of masala batter. The type of masala usually is simple, with garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, hing, fenugreek, chili powder, black pepper, and turmeric for that color

This masala works well with prawns too, but you guys NEEED to try some Bombay Duckfish fry hahahahahahahaha. Please try our seafood bastards.
