I think it is unequivocally on of the best of the style, and DDH Pseudo Sue is probably the best APA I have ever had.

I think every pale ale these guys do is gold. Too bad their barrel aged dark stuff is insanely limited and expensive so I have never bought any

>Is this what people talk about when they say there are a couple different kinds of PseudoSue? My local stores have a different can design than this.
No, thats just an old picture

The different kinds are the Double Dry Hop (citra), Mosaic Dry Hop, and Galaxy Dry Hop

All three are excellent, and must buys if you run into them, especially if fresh. They are sold in bombers rather than the usual 4 pack cans

I don't think 60 min is particularly atypical but haven't had it in a while. I would say the best widely available old school IPA is Bells Two Hearted
The biggest problem with IPA is that most of the large nearly national craft brewers have flagship IPAs that predate modern techniques but are entrenched so they aren't just going to replace them so you are probably better off going with a newer local IPA. Especially those featuring citra/mosaic hops
A really good widespread one you should be able to find now is Founders Azacca IPA

as to my personal favorites, basically anything by Toppling Goliath, had some of this last on tap night and it is amazing

How much did you pay for it? I love Toppling Goliaths various pale ales, but that stuff is absurdly expensive.
The DDH Pseudo Sue is the best though

Most midwest and east coast style IPA is at least pretty good, King Sue is excellent, truly one of the best hoppy beers
Though DDH Sue might be even better

Toppling Goliath;'s barrel aged special release stuff is absurdly priced, but they do make the best pale ales and IPAs in the country at pretty normal prices.
This is probably the best PA/IPA I have tried and I paid like $7 for a bomber

I really think upper midwesterners have it best when you consider their local beer and availability of beer from other regions, plus a lot more retail space devoted to beer and better prices
Also Toppling Goliath
