I remember watching a grown adult order a slice of pepperoni pizza. He was sitting alone dressed in some colorful shirt with cargo shorts, like his mom dressed him. A group of girls walked by and started busting up laughing because of how pathetic and child-like he looked. I almost felt bad, but then remembered that he made the decision to order pepperoni pizza in public. As an adult, you shouldn't be ordering food designed for children in an establishment frequented by others. In fact, you should have outgrown children's food when you were a child. I guess some adults just can't leave behind the unoffensive, greasy mildness of a children's food like pepperoni pizza. Some of us were never destined to be adults.

The pepperoni appeals to children who then whine and cry and beg their mommies to order them pepperoni pizza. But some mommies are health-conscious so then the peppers are there to make them think "well if I get peppers on it at least my child will get some vegetables with their pepperoni pizza childrens food.

I'm taking care of my 7 year old nephew while my sister and he husband go away this weekend. I asked her what he likes to eat and she said "he'll eat pretty much anything". While it's nice to know he's not a picky eater, I really am not sure of the extent that applies to a 7 year old and I'm not sure how "child friendly" the food I normally keep around is. The only children's food that I know of is pepperoni pizza, but I'd like to do more than order that for every meal. Since he is open, I'd like to introduce him to new things that don't want to go too crazy.

So, what I'm asking is do you guys have any idea for children's food other than pepperoni pizza? Pepperoni pizza is a very easy children's food to obtain and every child (and adults with the palate of a child) enjoy it, but I'd like to try to get him used to adult foods young so maybe he'll enjoy cooking one day.
