Colman's is a great EDC "hot" mustard and you can get it for cheap at Walmart.

Presumably pic related, "Zakuson." It's frankly too overpowering for many dishes, and the ingredients include "artificial mustard oil" (equivalent of "pepper extract" for hot sauce purists). But it's definitely a trip in small doses on some quality pork.

Colman's belies the stereotype of British food being bland, It's not super hot, but it's hotter than any other mustard that you'll find on typical American shelves, definitely preferable to the "American standard" French's & Gulden's. And you can get it at American Walmarts.

The goal is not always heat, though, and there's nothing wrong with a nice mild vinegary stone-ground supermarket brand like Inglehoffer.
