I don't binge because I'm not a fat flyover fuck. I dread the holidays because I travel thousands of miles across the country to be with my pleb parents. My mother is a shit tier cook that has always seen it as a chore. She cooked a roast in the crock pot for so long that I think it actually drew moisture out of the dry Arizona desert where they live. I made the roast last year, low and slow in the oven, she is never making another roast again.

My father has made casual mention to me of his 'morning McDonald's run' in phone conversation. Jesus fucking Christ! This man is driving his Mercedes every morning to pick up McGarbage™ and has nothing else to do for the remainder of the day. I suspect this year I will have to throw their pre-cooked bacon-in-a-box -yes, they buy this- in the trash and make them a proper breakfast burrito.
