Watermelon has always been my favorite food in the world. I often eat so much that I have difficulty breathing and I have to vomit. I love watermelon juice, drinks, candies, scents, miscellaneous merchandise... I even love the colors of it. The beautiful, deep green skin. The succulent, tantalizing red flesh. The crisp white rind. The feeling when you've just sliced into a whole melon and you hear it start to crack apart. That feeling when you cut that first slice. Can you feel it? Can you feel the sweet flesh on your tongue, the feeling of your teeth slowly sinking through the ice-cold chunk of solidified nectar? Can you feel the cascading rivulets of delectable juice exploding with each bite? My heart is legitimately fluttering right now, as if I'm thinking about a beautiful woman.

How do you pick a perfect watermelon, /ck/?

I find that even if it looks good on the outside, and sounds good when I hit it, when I get home and cut it it's under-ripe and I want to rage.
