those slurpee machines are so much smarter-engineered than the ones where I live. 7/11s around here jew you out of the volume of the lid in slurpee by making the spout bigger than the hole in the lid, maybe 10% of the overall volume. consistency doesn't allow you to mound it like ice cream then put the lid on afterwards, either.
