Bull fucking shit. I've been using the same Le Creuset for 17 years. I lost the lid last time I moved when some nigger stole some boxes but it doesn't crack searing shit in the bottom for a decade and a half.

To give you an idea of how well enamel bonds to the metal in good pans, I was retarded in shipping it and managed to grind off some of the enamel on the bottom by shipping it cloth, against some heavy springs (don't ask). Despite being down the metal on the bottom where it heats in several places it's not peeling or cracking around there.

A nice concentrated chicken stock makes my place smell like it for 2 days. Onions, carrots, celery, and chicken carcass (plus some feet for collagen) stewed for hours simply smells like heaven.
