that generally only goes for the livers of predators.
Copper poisoning is nothing to fuck around with though. I knew a guy who got a bad case of it one time,(Chemical exposure, not food,) and it fucked him up so bad that even after a year of intensive chelation treatments, he blew up to ~320lbs. from being ~175lbs.(probably a defense mechanism against the toxins,) and his personality completely changed. It was like he was a different person.
It may have eventually worn off, and I think I'd heard he got back to his normal weight years later, but he was never the same.
I'm reminded of that whenever I see some retard making dope pipes out of copper lamp parts.
Verdigris is poisonous in high concentrations.

I once worked in a resort kitchen that had been sold a full electric kitchen from the 70s I think.
It was a fucking nightmare. The ONLY thing that functioned properly was the 6 bank of fryers...That was where the morning "Chef" would drop whole portion papers of bacon when they ran out,(almost every day.)
the night "Chef" was no better, that dumb FATFUCK once had me desecrate a 10" wheel of Brie by "Put it in an eggwash, then breadcrumb it--then drop it in the fryer for 2 mins...OR YOU"RE FIRED!" I was a young kid then, so I did it.
I ended up quitting a week later.
That may've been my greatest Professional kitchen sin.
I did get to kick out some pretty good shit like Chambord Duck, and at least the pantry Chef was on the ball. We made most of the food for service from scratch. Then the "Night Chef" took over after Pantry quit, and it was all SYSCO-PALOOZA!! And GFS on the FLY!!
Seriously, FUCK RETARD pretenders.
*(Don't ever eat at one of those "Resort" hotels--they are ALL a rip-off. I'm lookin' at YOU Marriott...)
