No, thats the thing. I just moved out and my parents came over for dinner. I made a seafood soup. Cod, shrimp, scallops, mussels and clams in a homemade shellfish broth. Shit was fucking delicious imo. They just refused to eat it because it had mussels in it. I even made a seperate batch for my dad because he has a shrimp allergy (using leftover lobster shells, crab claws and the lil feets from the scallops to make a shrimpless stock) made some homemade cheddar garlic knots, and a nice lil ceasar salad because they both love them. They ate the salad, the bread, drank all my wine and ordered dominos. I dont care if they seriously have tried mussels before and dont like them. But them being my guests and not even trying them, acting repulsed and ordering take out without eating my shit was pretty rude.
Whatever im just venting.
