>There were Germans who came to the South
Some, but very, very few relative to the north

Like you can basically pick out the cultural north vs south simply based on the percent of people descended from Germans

>You know at a fundamental level, beer is a European tradition, right
You know europeans settled america right?

Its not like modern europeans have any more connection to that brewing tradition than modern americans do

No europe is bad at making beer because they are afraid to break from any tradition and 95% of german beer is the exact same lager.

Also keep in mind that all of germany's best and brightest immigrated to america and brought all of their beer knowledge with them, leaving behind mediocrity

>America wouldn't exist without England
culturally, Germany and Ireland were much more influential on america. Politically england was obviously an influence, but as far as their cultural influence it is largely limited to the south and the mormons, the worst groups of people in america

>We got beer culture that's older than your country.
American was mostly settled by Germanic people who brought all of their brewing knowledge and tradition with them

>They've known good beer far longer than we have
Thats dumb logic, they are the ones that settled most of america. Its not like america spontaneously sprung up from nothing
