I'm 29 years old and I have never cooked anything beyond boiling pasta and pasta sauce.

I'm wondering how to make curry sauce for my chicken fried rice. Like do I just boil water in a saucepan and put the curry powder in it and stir it for awhile or what? Im a total noob at cooking.
