I recently bought some Cambembert. It recommends serving it with fig spread (which i also have). How am i meant to eat fig spread with cheese? Am i supposed to put it directly on the cheese? Should I serve the fig spread on crackers, melba toast, crostini, etc? Ought the fig spread be eaten on its own in accompaniment to the cheese, i.e with a spoon? I just want to be cultured desu

I don't mind blue cheese if it's served in really thin slices with some bread or something. Otherwise, camembert and gouda are probably my favourites. Kind of a funny contrast
