A small bit of peg board against the wall with metal hooks. Paint it a suitable color, then place your tools on it as you get them (you will collect more). Julia Child's kitchen is now preserved in the smithsonian if you want to image search for it and get a better idea of this. http://amhistory.si.edu/juliachild/
It would work effectively for a small kitchen. OR go over the sink with a circular pot rack that has hooks.

1. I will gladly eat anything except beans. Green beans are fine but red beans, white beans, pinto beans, fava beans, lima beans, field peas, crowder peas I do not like. I have tried really hard to like beans, since they are so cheap and come in many varieties. I even live in Louisiana where red beans and rice are a staple. I just don't like them. SOMETIMES black bean soup is tolerable. I wish I could like beans.

2. I cook mostly from scratch, I am freaked out by popular pre-packaged convenience foods. I have a microwave, but heating food up on the stove or in the oven tastes better so I don't use it.

3. I love cheese.

4. I don't really care for meats on my pizza, give me a pizza with cheese, basil, and light sauce and I am happy.

5. I want to write a cook book.

Does anyone sometimes feel like giving up what career or study they are working towards and just enroll in culinary school to cook/bake all day and dream about food? I seem to just find myself spending hours a day looking for recipes or making my own and get immense pleasure from cooking and the results... But I'm already 2 years into a 3 year degree that has nothing to do with food

The only thing that excites me is food and cooking
