I recently was around the beyond burger. My niece is vegetarian and her family didn't know I made a bunch of vegetarian food for her so they brought a package.

That shit smells like cat food. It's not as strongly scented of cat food after its cooked, but it was still there. And not just normal cat food. I used to work in pet care so I have smelled a lot of cat food. This smelled like... worse. I can see how someone would eat it anyways since it looks like a burger, but knowing what I know and don't know about it I wouldn't touch it.
She only ate one patty and left the second one here.
I don't like to waste food so I composted it. I could have fed it to my ducklings but desu I'm gonna eat some of them and they eat organic feed as well as my garden veg and bugs, I don't want to taint them or their eggs/manure.
