What are some good meals to have in the dog days of summer? I've been getting in from work sweaty and hot as fuck, hungry but nothing looks appealing. I'm used to cooking soups, stews, chili, pot roast, fajitas, etc but I don't want a hearty stew when it's fucking 100 degrees outside. They only things that seem appeal able when I arrive home or am eating out are cold sandwiches and salads, but that's fucking boring. I like BBQ in the heat but bbq plates are pretty expensive and I don't have a smoker so can't make my own.
