Warren MI here, and we have two excellent brewpubs (used to have three);

Kuhnhenns - the first one in town with great beer and now two locations, the original joint on Chicago and Mound Rd and their much larger new place (that is also their production facility for sale to bars and such) on Groesbeck south of 16 Mile Rd (that also has food, the original place only has pizza)

Dragonmead - this place is on 11 Mile service drive east of Groesbeck and they have a smaller bar with their brewing operation in the back of the building. Also lots of great beers and they also have food.

Falling Down Brewery - was on 10 Mile Rd. west of Ryan and had great beer and food but I heard the owner died right when they were expanding to other locations and now it’s sadly out of business.

I’ve lived my whole life in Warren MI but nobody outside of Michigan knows where it is, despite it being the 3rd largest city in the state, (and I’d guess plenty of Michiganders outside of metro Detroit would have to pause and think about it before answering) so when someone asks where we’re from, we usually just say “Detroit” and they usually respond with something like; “OMFG, why?!”…

I also like Kuhnhenns brew pub just up the road but haven't been in a while, as my friends are too cheep.
