I work at a kitchen that supplies meals to people in programs who are getting off the street. It’s not just free meals to the heroine junkies like the ones in SF, it’s people who are getting their shit together to have a slightly better life.
It’s not changing the world, and I’m not deluded enough to think it is. But hey, not everyone can be a hero like you, who sits absolutely alone in a dark bedroom all day waiting to be happy.
