Spaghetti along with all other forms of 'long' pasta (except lasagna sheets I suppose) are absolute dogshit and I cannot be convinced otherwise:
>requires either twirling onto the fork, or autistic cutting (defeating the point of it being long)
>can't hold sauce for shit
>sauce with bits in (ex. bolognese) get separeted out during twirling, meaning you have to scoop up the bits separately
>dangling strands of pasta can, and do, flick sauce fucking everywhere if you're not careful
>requires either a massive fucking pot to cook or for you to tap it down as it cooks to get it all in the water (obviously this doesn't apply to nests)
>if you break it so it fits in easier you've again defeated the point of it being long
No, I refuse to cook any kind of long pasta and when I do eat it, it's orders of magnitude wose than if it was replaced for ANY short pasta shape, even shells. FUCK spaghetti.
