I've been an enthusiast home cook for 5 years now (also baking, mixology, fermenting), its my main hobby besides lifting, I always experiment, try new things, and try to learn, improve and master
But everytime I post here people call my technique shit, my dishes shit, and me shit

How do I become better, after cooking almost daily for 5 years and reading tons of recipes, what exactly can I do to become better? What books to read, what chefs to follow, etc?
I have perfectionist tendencies, and I like to make hard and complex dishes regularly, but /ck/ is never satisfied
