Malaysia. I think most Southeast Asian countries have them too. Oh and pic related, it's a durian, another annual fruit that's the hot shit everytime they come to season.

Durian was by far the strangest and worst. The smell was intoxicating, and tasted ok, but the mushy texture made me gag.

I tried durian after I conquered dragonfruit at the Asian market. I remember having dragonfruit at a breakfast buffet while in China.
