If you make your own pasta for any reason other than fun you are unironically stupid. The cost of pasta is so low, even if you make minimum wage your time is literally not worth it. Plus that you need special semomema flour and a special machine that take money and space. If you do it for fun thats fine, but you can't pretend like its somehow a smart idea

Hey /ck/, I mentioned that I liked to cook for myself for fun, and now my sister has me cooking dinner for her, her baby, her husband, her friend, and my friend from out of town. Help me pick a meal.

I considered curry, but my sister and brother-in-law had that a few days ago. I thought about making carbonara (don't get triggered I don't add weird stuff) or lasagna but my friend doesn't like cheese. He says he doesn't mind, but I'm fairly certain he's being sweet.

I know my friend's favourite fruit is mango so I thought mango pudding would be considerate.
