Oldest video is from 6 years ago, the newest is from 14 hours ago. These are a series of congresses that address the low carb diet from a scientific (biological, nutritionist, athlete, etc.) POV.

Contrary to your opinion, the fact is that the long term effects of a low carb diet have been documented extensively, with immensely positive result. To name one: people suffering from diabetes, considered to be incurable and requiring constant assistance, have been made symptom-free (on the long run).

One more note: this is the ONLY scientific community I know that requires the scientists that speak to declare OPENLY their funding, meaning: biases. These people are literally the underdogs of these scientific fields, because the big lobby interests involved in high-carb diets (Nestle, Monsanto, etc.) oppose them out of economic necessity.

If you want to take that route: at best it was a failed attempt at mocking himself, since to do it properly you would have to go all the way and assume something that criticizes you fully. For sarcasm you would require to convey contempt which first involves a basic operation of (explicit or implicit) differentiation that later gets transformed into a more humorous or deprecating tone: I despise B because it's not A "B is so fine!" (sarcasm). But his logic is warped, behind his attempt at sarcasm there's no differentiation, for him (since he's a vegan) A (egg) is the same as A' (chicken menstruation). When asked, "Do you still eat eggs?" and retorting, "Yes, I eat chicken menstruation." what is it exactly that he's attempting to mock? The egg? He's eating it. As opposed to what? Non-"chicken menstruation" eggs?

For me, since I know the person to be having psychosis, on a psychological level the statement is about how he perceives the world around him spontaneously: warped. The thing he hates, he does - and this appears to him in a distorted way. No surprise that he found in the ideology of veganism a perfect mirroring of his situation. Veganism is denying and hating what you are as a biological being, an omnivore. It allows you on an ideological level to do what you do on the psychological: misplace your self-hatred onto something else (other people, "carnists"), by transforming you into a victim in your own eyes on two levels: first, as identifying with the suffering of animals, second, by actually, really suffering through depraving yourself of your biological needs.
