It doesn't matter if he's finally getting better and trying/doing his physio and diet etc. He's had 3 strokes and a close call. He's at risk to just arbitrarily and suddenly die whenever now even if he's actively getting better otherwise, which is a shame. He's not fun to watch anymore because of the morbidness of his situation, the awful depressing grey colour grading of his videos, his lack of conviction since he knows he's a laughing stock and doesn't have that authentic self importance founded in naivety. His videos aren't interesting because his recipes are neither baffling and weird nor agonizing failures. No party cheese salads, no raw chicken, no bloody meat or off colour dripping in lard desserts. A shame.

but the reason I use butter is the melting points are different
but it's also cheaper and extremely available, it's just a good stand-in and even comes from the same animal.
i've done it before and tallow won't melt as readily into the meat, so if it's not cut against the grain it can be troublesome, and suet has a bit of a similar issue but has an even higher melting point
this is a problem because you're basically trying to compete with the melting points of the fats and juices already inside the meat

tallow and suet do have the advantage though of re-congealing at higher temperatures too, the suet starts to re-congeal at the melting temperature of tellow

My gf has serious food allergies. lots of em - eggs, milk, peanuts, pork, shrimp, etc. cooking for her is a pain in the ass, and i can't eat a lot of things i want when shes next to me. it started as a teen and got worse as she got older; she has fond memories of bacon and eggs and cakes and shit as a kid, but now it will literally kill her

Is it possible to "fix" a picky eater?

My bf's diet seems to consist of only the following: tendies, pepperoni pizza, french fries (wont eat potato in any other form but these and chips), and hot wings.

He hates pretty much any kind of vegetable and fruit and doesn't even like pasta/noodles.

I am slowly being driven insane.

Every day was a different food item, like Chow Mein or a Chicken Sandwich or Spaghetti, but you also had the standard Ham/Cheeseburger and Breadtangle of Pizza served with tater tots and milk.

If I ever have kids, I'm seriously making their lunch as much as I can.
