There's nothing wrong with going with the basic options at restaurants, and in the case of some places it's the best option to go with
>family going to some not great little dinner place
>say just grab me a couple coney dogs and fries
>"nooo, come on, you can eat hot dogs any time"
>ok how about the bacon cheeseburger....
>"nooooooooooo come on, how about a roast beef dinner or..."
>just settle on the fish and chips
>"oh come on why don't you get the seafood platter then?"
