i just bought some steak. i've never cooked one in my life.

how to cook?

What's the best way to keep meat fresh? I bought a cut at the butcher today, it's in the butcher paper type wrapping.
I found out I can't eat it until tomorrow now.

Would it be best to leave it in the fridge or would it be better to freeze it and thaw it tomorrow? For freshness and tastes sake.

Beef loin top sirloin steak, I have it thawed out and plan on cooking it tonight.
Help me /ck/ I don't know what to do with it to make it juicy and delicious. (Also done)
