I tried real maple syrup for the first time in like ten years and I was absolutely fucking blown away by how good it tasted, it was the most intense reaction I've had to food I can remember

The fake stuff has its appeal as something mild and light that you can slather on stuff, but real maple syrup is fucking heaven
