Stories related as to why you like/hate certain foods so much

I'll start:
There was this lady my father would have me stay with while he did whatever. Date around, sell his medicine, don't know, don't care. Woman was a massive sweetheart. Back fucked up due to husband's intoxicated driving so she could barely move. Me, being an ungrateful and ignorant twelve year old wasn't too much help, but it's too late to change anything now. Husband was a vet and constantly fucked up on various medications, almost killed us by veering off the road once and constantly yelled at her to shut up. Tried to let dad know but he said it was normal.
This is what was in their fridge. I drink it every day so I don't forget her. I think I've already forgotten her name.
