Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I have a really nice grinder, so I'll look into the Kalita Wave. My blender has these nice bullet cups where a lid with food processor blades attaches to the blender and blends the stuff in the cup. I may as well go through my coffee ritual.

>put bullet cup on scale and turn on scale
>put 60 grams of death wish coffee beans in the cup, blend to the point it doesn't clog the filter, and add grounds to french press
>heat water on stove to 200°F and immediately add to french press
>stir and let sit for 5-6 minutes
>strain and pour into serving cup

Makes 700ml of strong ass coffee that keeps me awake for 4 extra hours.
