Your not totally wrong honestly. I lived in the US my whole life but moved to mexico to study and it is different to what i thought the food would be. Its not as bad as you say where people wouldn't even be able to stand mexican food, honestly the majority of it is really fucking good, its just way different than mexican food in america. I love burritos but turns out theres no fucking burritos there, atleast not in the city i live in (GTO), the tacos are definitely better here than in the states, even though theyre mostly the same, but the actual formal dishes like mole and shit are often not that great, atleast in my opinion. That being said, if you think people in america have never had mexican food, you might have literal clinical retardation and you should consider dying screaming in a grease fire
