Depends on the beer. Expect a lot of yeasty esters and phenolics. Bubblegum, banana, clove, maybe some raisin, in some combination of intensities.

I live in NC and I've only seen a couple bottles of their bba weizenbock here. Other than that they're really hard to find, which is a shame because that weizenbock was fucking magnificent.

I'm not so big on kettle sours; while they can be tasty and refreshing, a lot of them tend to be pretty one-note/gimmicky. I can't get enough of wild fermentations. Almanac (in my first post) and Troegs make some great small batch sours, and any respectable bottle shop keeps some of the classic belgians on the shelf.
