It pumped stupid amounts of money into the economy to "kickstart it" with the help of the reichsbank instead of deregulating like any sensible government would do. It created an enormous deficit with high tax rates and tarrifs. Nazi germany would have been unsustainable without the war. Nazi germany was a failing state as soon as it started.
