For some unknown reason, the ethnic markets in southern California (east Asian, arabic, Mexican, whatever) seem to have fruits & veggies consistently cheaper than most big chain grocery stores that you would have heard of.

Anybody know why?

That's why you're here in the first place right, just to shitpost. If you truly did want a place free of americans where you can circlejerk about whatever you want then you wouldn't be here. But you won't leave, you can't bear to break contact with us because your whole world revolves around trying to measure up to us in the hopes of that occasional 'gotcha' moment that you can act smug about until you go to bed and then feel that feel of wishing you were here.

I very rarely drink.

I do not enjoy the taste of most alcoholic drinks and even the okay tasting ones are still not particularly good. I also do not find the sensation of being drunk any fun, I hate it.

I really just don't see the appeal of it. Just to be cool, to fit in? Fuck that, I don't give a shit. I've got friends, I really could not care less what some random cunt thinks of me.

There are other ways to have fun than pissing all your money away binge drinking.
