What is the best instant noodle product and why is it Indomie mi goreng?

I found a way to replicate the flavor of Indomie at home while using cheaper ramen noodles. You boil the noodles for 2 minutes and drain the water, then add them to a bowl that contains the prepared sauce, which after much experimentation is made as follows:
1 1/2 tbs white sugar
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1/2 of a Knorr Bouillon cube
1 tsp Palm or Coconut oil
1/4 tsp Sesame Oil
1/2 tsp Garlic & Onion powder
1/4 tsp Ginger powder
1 tsp Cayenne powder
1 tsp Black pepper
1/4 tsp Five Spice powder
Pinch of citric acid (opt)

It almost tastes like real Mi Goreng, but I'm not sure what it's missing (besides the delicious fried onions). Any thoughts?
