Here's a pseudo food sickness story.
No one got sick but if left alone then I'm sure some poor soul would have perished.

>be me
>work as a dishwasher at a shitty restaurant
>in the backroom looking at the "clean" food buckets seeing if they're up to par
>(boss makes food and uses these buckets to store it for later)
>grab a clean one to check
>look inside
>at the bottom of the bucket i see some black specs/stringy black stuff
>must be some dirt/steel wool bits, I'll clean it
>look closer
>the stringy bits are actually not stringy bits they're tiny, slim, black, worm like creatures
>Wriggling around the bottom of the bucket and standing up straight like tapeworms begging for food or something
>never seen anything like em
>rightfully disgusted
>ask assistant manager what the fuck is this alien species doing in the bottom of this bucket in a shitty restaurant
>he looks inside
>visible confusion and disgust, also, never seen anything like it.
>he just tells me to throw away the bucket cause he doesn't want to deal with the possibility of finding more

To this day I still don't know what the fuck was in that bucket, where they came from, or if there were more.
All I think about is how many meals have I eaten in that restaurant that had lil black wormies in it.
