I've tried it. At first I thought they accidentally gave me regular tendies because they didn't look or even smell any different. The wild pepper flavor has to be marinated into the chicken because you don't taste it until you bite into the tendie. They're very flavorful and I will order them again. 9/10 on the tendie scale

They give you some weird sauce with them that I didn't like. They have a blackened ranch dipping sauce that is much better.

My friends and I tried this once in college.

>whole restaurant staff watching us like a hawk the rest of the time

We were also stoned as fuck. Didn't plan well enough. We did have a lot of success eating at hotel breakfast buffets for free. Only works at some places, Embassy Suites was the best. We just drove there in pajamas and acted like guests and took advantage of (read: raped) the buffet and omelette station.
