I normally get hot and spicy fried chicken but decided to try some hot rods so bought two of them andh ere are my thoughts.

The entire stick is deep fried so you cannot hold it by the stick without getting oil and fried flour all over your fingers. This pissed me off I really wonder why they don't just skewer chicken that is fried but imagine they come skewerd already. This ruins the experience.

The sauce that came with the chicken hot rods was like a seafood tasting sauce it was aioli or something but did not match the chicken flavour so not for me.

I think I will just stick to bying hot and spicy drum sticks as I can eat them well without getting grease all over myself.

What is the best fried chieck recipe you know and are there any tips at all?
I have made fried chicken before but it never compares to KFC and it is more than just the flavour but how the breading sticks.
I used to work at KFC and the way it was made was marinated chicken (for hot and spicy) put into a tub of flour and spices after being dipped in water so the creading sticks and repeating the flouring again.

How can I make actually good fried chicken?
When you learn to cook things you always learn little tricks beyond what any recipe would say so any tips?

I eat most cold leftover food just fine and it tastes fine to me, but I've noticed that no matter what, whether it's cold or reheated, I cannot stand the taste of leftover chicken, even though I like it when it's originally cooked. Is there something inside chicken that's not inside other foods that makes it taste nasty when it's been in the fridge for a bit? I figure if any place might know something about this it's /ck/.
