I call it "the kike spike" but everyone else calls it the "brussels buster." I do not correct them.
>get a few stalks of pic related
>get a big ass pan
>heat oven to four hundred american
>melt butter, baste the sprouts
>little salt, lots of pepper
>grate parmesan over the stalks or your hard cheese of choice
>put sprouts onto pan
>put strips of bacon onto the sprouts so the bacon fat renders down
>put more cheese on the bacon if you prefer, definitely put more pepper on the bacon
>give it quarter turns every ten minutes or so, put the bacon back on the stalk as best you can and flip the bacon over on the second turn
>it's done when you can easily fork the sprouts
Optionally you can just cut them off and cut them in half if you don't want to fuck with it. I only do it for dinner parties. It's pretty cheap and low effort.
