the best cast iron is the one you cook with.

not a joke. I have an Ozark Trail one (aka the WalMart camping-section brand) that I got for 7 dollars when I was young. If you think a factory-fresh Lodge has a course finish... But I've used it for years now and it's excellent, because cast iron is a "living" material (similar to leather) that develops with age and use.

Well done.
Most of my secondhand's are actually from "Free Stuff" piles, or the type of thing set out next to a dumpster in a "this trash is still good" box. My neighborhood contains a world-class university and you may be surprised what transient students leave behind because they can't take them with.
My tri-ply stainless steel skillet in such a way. Very many pieces of pyrex/anchor-hocking glass bakeware. My 10.5" Lodge was found in a dumpster so I took the time to unironically scour and sand it before reseasoning. Oh and a big Le Creuset anodized flat-bottom induction-compatible wok. As well as various minor kitchenwares. Also my two-hob induction cooktop is mounted into what was once a college student's desk. And my dinner-table was found the same way. Plenty more examples throughout my place but this is most of the kitchenware, without getting into granular stuff like dishracks and measuring cups.

I also do not know who King Cobra is, although King Cobra is malt-liquor royalty. Whatchu know bout that? Prolly... Nothin'.

Anyways last night I had a girl over who ordered Nando's to my house. They were like bowls with a bunch of stuff (rice, peppers, salad greens, hummus, etc. and a shamefully-small amount of chicken) and there was plenty of leftovers, for me mostly rice but she left a whole piece of chicken. This morning I made a frittata with sauteed spinach, cottage cheese, parmesan, and I shredded up the leftover chicken and tossed it in there with a bunch of the spicy rice. Counts as a food hack, right? It came out very tasty.
