Get stuff by actual microbreweries, like Lagunitas, Rogue, Stone, etc etc. Really what you need to do is try different varieties of beer and not focus on the brand. Try IPAs, stouts, porters, pale ales, red ales, hefeweizens, tripels, saisons, black lagers, amber ales, and so on.
