It was around 3am, and I was feeling hungry despite eating everything in my parents fridge.
I decided it was time to make my daily 12-5am Jack in the Box visit through the drive-thru for the munchie meal.
Only this time... things were different.
The new guy working there I've only seen for about two months, he would just give me my food and look at me like he hated his wagie life.
But this time...
I went to order and I heard laughter coming from the speaker.
He asked me if I wanted anything else.
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, actually yeah, I want to try those potato wedges"
More laughter...
"Anything else"
"Uhhhhhh, nah, that's it."
More laughter
I waited in line, thinking it was all just in my head.
Then the unthinkable happened
"Hey sorry, man, we were laughing because we made a bet. I bet you would order $15 of food or more. I was so close to winning!"

"DUDE YOU SHOULD OF ORDERED MORE I WOULD HAVE WON!"
