I made my manual control a bit less inconsistent with a tc4+ and artisan in the new Popper*. Watching your mistakes graphed in real time helps.

Nice! Back when I started modding poppers in 2019 I was on the hunt for a reasonably priced poppery 1 to gut. Not my pic but I have it saved for when people ask about what the sweet marias Popper* actually ads over the OGs. They literally just sent a poppery out to china and said make this, but with dials.

If you want to look into it a bit more, they're just miniature fluid bed roasters. Heating element+fan to move hot air and shuffle beans around gives you a very even roast. As the beans lose weight, they move to the top of the bed letting the heavier beans fall down closer to the heat. Very simple, very effective.
