You don't need cheese on a pizza. You don't need to fucking murder a pizza with cheese. Instead of sprinkling shredded mozzarella all over the damn thing, cut up some fresh stuff and place it around the pizza in a few areas so you can properly taste the sauce and toppings. I mean, just look at this sad thing. You're deluded if you think the appeal of New York pizza isn't solely children who like the texture of melted cheese.

I have no idea what the big deal is with New York style pizza. A few weeks ago I ate two slices at Joe's Pizza in NY and I was not impressed. In Europe every arab on the corner sells the same or even superior pizza. So why do all Americans cream their pants when somebody mentions NY style pizza?

They're both great.

But New York can't into pizza.

As a person who lives in chicago now, but has lived in new york city also, i can respect a good new york slice
